Clocking up the miles!

[Rach] Great run last weekend with my two oldest friends! With Kath over from South Africa for a flying visit we had a lovely weekend catching up (and Tory's cooking was better than ever in her new kitchen!).

Despite having known each other all our lives, we realised as we ran that it was the first time ever we'd all run together! Not only that, but if any of us had thought years ago that aged 30-odd we'd be running together and loving it, we wouldn't have believed it!

We set out from Aldbourne early on Saturday morning to do 12.5 miles... and ended up doing 17.2 miles due a missed turning and a not-so-helpful map!! Who knows how far we would have gone if we hadn't hit the motorway and realised we were nearly in Swindon!

Yet again, my longest run yet and a boost to my training and confidence. I'm really excited about the marathon now, and also about raising as much money as possible for The Prostate Cancer Charity, so thank you to everyone who's sponsored me already, and a big shout out to those that haven't yet but would like to!!! You can sponsor me at my JustGiving page.
