[Rach] The last 2 weeks have been about fitting in the miles... I would like to say a big thank you to Tory for joining me on my 18 miler around Bristol last weekend, and to Dad and Paul for being a superb support team yesterday as Leroy and I ran our first 20 miles in one go!
We ran along the Kennet and Avon Canal towpath which made for excellent running - beautiful countryside and very little chance of getting lost, and flat flat flat :-) All very helpful when going for distance.
The race is now just 4 weeks away, so with training seemingly under control (touch wood) it's time to focus on the fundraising. Please pass on this email to anyone you know that may want to sponsor me and show their support to the Prostate Cancer Charity and our marathon efforts!
Training can be boring, painful and restricting at times, so it makes a huge difference having friends and family showing so much support and encouragement!
Now it must be time to start thinking about what to do with the other 6 days in New York.. mmm...
P.S. Huge congratulations to Ben who completed his first Iron Man in Barcelona today in an astounding 10 hours and 25 minutes! Whoop whoop!!!

Hi Rachel -
Another Moen here cheering you on. I'm still training to walk my marathon in late November. Alissa and WALKED 17 miles yesterday - that was tough enough so I can fully appreciate your strenuous training. Keep up the good work!
